Glacier, Washington is the hub of Festival 542. Glacier sits in a valley of the Cascade foothills and is the last outpost before entering the Mount Baker National Forest. Artist Point, the finishing line for The Mount Baker Hill Climb, is 24.5 miles east, while Interstate 90 and Bellingham are about 32 miles west.
Food & Accommodations
Camping
Camping is available in Glacier on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as all the local Forest Service Campsites. Check in at the Registration Area to get directed to local camping location. Camping sites are spread around town and are $10 per head. You can pre-register for camping with your registration or just check in that evening and we'll find a nice space for you. There are no showers available yet (maybe next year!!).
We recommend staying in Glacier or Maple Falls on Saturday night. There are numerous places to stay and it will make your morning much easier to coordinate and fuel up for your climb. Click here to find a list of all of the accommodations
