SILVER LAKE TRIALS - Event & Road Information

Driving Information

• Please be aware of cyclists on roads and drive cautiously.
• Riders on roads from 8:30am until about 11am.
• Please drive slower and add a few minutes to your travel time.
• There will be riders of all ages and abilities in this event.
• All roads fully open, no closures.
• Two turnarounds on the course.  Vehicles have right of way.  All rules of the road apply.  Please proceed with caution and obey corner marshals.

No cash rewards. Lucky for you we offer Local merchant prizes, bragging rights & ribbons.

What
A 7 or 22 mile road bicycle time trial is an event with each rider separated by 30 seconds/ a minute racing against the clock. Riders will be overtaking each other on course but are not allowed to ‘work’ together nor draft each other. Experienced
riders will average about 25mph on course.
